I was born and raised in a small village in Crete in a farmer family that has been involved with the land for centuries. Having this great heritage and being in a rural landscape, wild and at the same time enchanting like that of Crete, I was involved in agriculture from a young age. Growing up, I realized the need for environmentally and human friendly crops and recognized the value of producing pure food that will nourish and heal the body and the soul. Therefore, very soon I started to cultivate my fields in an organic way.
All the vegetable and fruits on our farm are grown using organic processes. We have been certified organic since 2001 and we are farming under certification guidance. We are interested in working with nature through biodiversity to protect and regenerate the soil without using any chemicals to our land and plants. The work of organic farming is exciting, challenging, exhausting and it is a fulfilling experience that never ends.
